Referral programme
Introduce a company. Earn 20% of its first year.
Know a business that would like our alerts? Write to them and copy refer@worldsignals.net. If they become a customer, you get 20% of what they pay for 12 months. No account, no forms, no code.
Businesses only. They pay the same price either way, and we tell them you may receive a fee.
Introduce them by email
- Send it from your own email, with refer@worldsignals.net in Cc. That's how we know it's you.
- They reply when they're ready. We never write to them first: once they reply to all, we answer with real examples for their work and two weeks free, copying you.
- You earn 20% of each payment for their first year, once it's cleared 45 days.

Just so you know, I may receive a referral fee if you subscribe. Your price is the same either way.

Other ways to introduce a company
In person
At a meeting, an event or a trade fair: open your card page on your phone and let them scan the QR code. It opens a page where they write to us in one tap, with your code already in the email.
On a printed card
Print the QR code from your card page on a business card or a flyer for your stand.
In a message
Send your link on LinkedIn, WhatsApp or by text to someone you know who bids for public contracts.
To your own clients
Accountants, bid writers and consultants: mention it to clients who already hear from you, with your link, and tell them in writing that we pay you for the introduction, before they decide.
Your link and card page come by email when you ask for them, or after your first introduction.
Getting paid
- Each payment a company makes is held 45 days, for cancellations, refunds and chargebacks. The free fortnight earns nothing: your share starts with their first payment.
- At the start of each month, if you can invoice at least 20 (pounds, dollars or euros), we email you a statement.
- You reply with an invoice (PDF), one per currency, addressed to: Yumankind OÜ, Sepapaja 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. Registry code 16232402, VAT number EE102378229. It shows your business's name, registration number and address, an invoice number and date, the amount, your bank details, and your VAT number if you're registered. A business outside Estonia doesn't add VAT and writes “Reverse charge”.
- We pay invoices once a month: those that reach us by the 20th are paid by bank transfer by the end of that month, later ones the month after. We pay in the currency the company paid in.
The rules
These rules are part of our terms, between you and Yumankind OÜ, which runs WorldSignals. Introducing a company, or asking for your link, means you accept them.
- Who. Businesses only: a company or a registered sole trader (such as an FIE in Estonia, or in the UK a sole trader with an HMRC Unique Taxpayer Reference, which counts as your registration number), not individuals, since we pay against your business's invoice. Not our staff or contractors, and not someone who works for the company you introduce, nor a public official introducing a company they deal with in that role. If you advise the company or buy for it (as its accountant, bid writer or consultant), tell it in writing, before it decides, that we pay you 20% of its first 12 months' payments, and don't take part where your duties to it or its rules forbid it: a hidden fee could be a bribe. Never share our payment with anyone at that company or offer them anything. We may end the programme for you and recover payments if you breach anti-bribery law. You're never obliged to introduce anyone.
- Only people you know. Introduce people you know, or have dealt with, who would welcome it. No bulk or cold emails, no lists, no spam, no fake reviews, no ads bidding on our name, and never pretend to be us or speak for us. You follow the marketing and privacy laws where you and they are (in the UK, PECR and UK GDPR; in the EU, GDPR and the ePrivacy rules; in the US, CAN-SPAM).
- Say you're paid. Tell them you may receive a referral fee (as the UK CAP Code and DMCC Act, the EU's unfair commercial practices rules and the US FTC's endorsement guides ask). We tell them too.
- What counts. The first introduction of a company counts, if the company starts its free fortnight (or subscribes) within 90 days of it. An introduction is a new email to the company with refer@worldsignals.net in To or Cc, sent from your own address, or the company writing to us with your link or code. Companies we've written to, or that wrote to us, in the past 12 months (that address, or another at the same company), our customers, your own company and your employer don't count, nor you paying for yourself. Only the company can start, change or cancel its alerts.
- What you earn. 20% of the company's payments for its first 12 months of service, everything on its invoice (add-ons included), before VAT, after refunds, credit notes and chargebacks. Nothing for the free fortnight, or for service after those 12 months, however it's invoiced.
- Prices. Our products and their prices, and so what you earn from them, may change at any time without notice. The prices in force are the ones published on this page (the calculator lists them). You always earn 20% of what a company actually paid, at the price it paid.
- Holding and refunds. Each payment is held 45 days. A refund or chargeback later comes off what you earn next, and anything paid on an introduction that broke these rules is owed back.
- Limits. One introduction names up to 3 companies; more than 5 in a day or 20 in 30 days wait for us to look at them. We never write to a company you introduce until it writes to us (a reply to all on your email, or an email to one of our addresses); then we answer it as anyone who writes to us. Introductions to personal email addresses are credited once we've checked they're a business. We only act on introductions signed by your own address's domain (as Gmail, Outlook and most company mail are). If companies you introduce ask us never to write again, your next introductions wait for us; what you earned stays yours.
- Taxes. You're responsible for your own taxes. A business outside Estonia doesn't add VAT to its invoice (we account for it under the reverse charge); a business in Estonia registered for VAT adds Estonian VAT. We may ask for the tax details the law requires of us before paying.
- Your data. We keep your name, email address, your introductions and what we pay you, and your invoices with your bank details for 7 years, as Estonian accounting law requires. See our privacy policy. When you introduce someone, you share their email address with us: do it only when they'd expect it. We tell them where we got it.
- Not an agent. You don't work for us, can't promise anything for us, and can't take orders or money on our behalf.
- Changes and ending. We may change these rules, or end the programme, with 30 days' notice by email (product prices aren't the rules: they may change at any time, as above). A change doesn't reduce what you earn on companies introduced before it takes effect. If the programme ends, we pay what you've earned even under 20; invoice us for it within 3 years. If you break these rules, or act in bad faith, we may stop the programme for you at once. We don't pay for introductions that broke these rules, may ask back what we paid for them, and may set off losses your breach caused us. What you earned on other introductions is still paid.
- Law. Estonian law, as in our terms.
Questions
Who can join?
Businesses only, anywhere: companies and registered sole traders (such as an FIE in Estonia), for example bid writers, accountants, consultants, suppliers and customers. Not individuals: we pay against your business's invoice. Not our staff, and not someone who works for the company they introduce. If you advise a company or buy for it, tell it in writing that we pay you, before it decides. You're never obliged to introduce anyone.
Do I need an account?
No. Copy refer@worldsignals.net on an introduction, or ask us for your link, and you're in. Everything is by email.
How much can I earn?
20% of what each company you introduce pays for its first 12 months, before VAT. A company on $79 a month earns you $189.60 over its first year.
Does the company pay more?
No. The price is the same with or without a referral, and we tell them you may receive a fee.
When am I paid?
Once a month. Each payment is held 45 days, for refunds and cancellations. At the start of each month we email you a statement; you reply with an invoice, and we pay invoices that reach us by the 20th by bank transfer by the end of that month. Under 20 in a currency waits for the next month.
What if the company cancels or gets a refund?
Nothing more is earned once they stop paying. A refund or chargeback within the 45 days means that payment earns nothing; a later one comes off what you earn next.
Two people introduced the same company. Who gets it?
The first introduction, if the company starts its free fortnight within 90 days of it. Companies we've written to, or that wrote to us, in the past 12 months don't count.
